Our Story
Created by Chef Ferrell Alvarez (2017 James Beard Foundation semi-finalist, Best Chef South), his longtime business-partner, friend and restauranteur, Ty Rodriguez and entrepreneur Chon Nguyen.
Proper House Group is behind the Seminole Heights’ gem, Rooster & the Till (named No. 1 restaurant in the Tampa Bay Times – 2018 + 2019, Nebraska Mini Mart (Seminole Heights) and Gallito Taqueria (two locations: Sparkman Wharf and The Joinery).
Creative spins on dumplings, pot stickers, double fried Asian style chicken wings, rou-jia-mo (house made Chinese flatbread stuffed with either pork, beef or tofu) boba and boozy boba.
Using vegan, home-made fish sauce, gluten free noodles and dumpling wrappers when and where possible.
